The Story: I love the polar bears at my local zoo. They are often in the portion of their habitat where I can see them at eye-level, and for some reason I always see them around feeding time. The mother in this drawing is based on a photo I took of a single bear pacing while waiting for her breakfast, but the pose was just right I had to add the cub. This is the first in a series of mother/baby drawings.
