This box was an unusual request. The client wanted a box to store her and her husband's letters from when he was serving in Iraq. After searching for suitable boxes, she settled on this one - a 11.5"x13.5"x4.25" basswood box crafted to look like a book. I burned a patriotic design on the cover and some wording on the "spine," and stained the spine and back cover.
