This coral reef is the largest drawing I've done so far. It measures 30" wide by 15" high and is done in colored pencil. You can see updated progress and descriptions on the different species on my blog. 		Bobcat

I met this bobcat at The Wildlife Center nearby. They are the only wildlife hospital in the state. In permanent residence are four bobcats who have been "humanized" (they have learned to associate humans with food). These two pairs act as surrogate parents to any young injured bobcats that will be reintroduced to the wild. I'm trying something new with this drawing: I'm using smooth bristol paper (instead of bristol vellum) and I'm also using the "indent method" to an extreme to produce fur texture. I will be writing a blog post about that soon.
