The Story: Possession is the law of the wild. If you can take it, it's yours. I have seen a scenario like this in a documentary, I wish I could remember which one, where a leopard brought its kill up a tree. A pride of lions came upon him and tried to steal the meal. Lions can and will climb trees, but not as well as leopards. The leopard simply kept pulling its kill higher out of the reach of the lions and waited until they gave up and left. I wanted to capture a moment like that with this drawing.
