| Title: Sunbathing Species: Chelonia mydas, Green Sea Turtle Medium: Charcoal Date Completed: 2008 |
The green sea turtle inhabits many of the world's oceans, but is still an endangered species. My sister took the photo I used for reference in Oahu. This turtle was the first reptile I ever drew in charcoal. He was featured in an exhibit at the Los Alamos Art Center at Fuller Lodge in August.
